Back for the third year, let’s show everyone what life with diabetes looks like! With a nod to the Diabetes 365 project, let’s grab our cameras again and share some more d-related pictures. Post as many or as few as you’d like. Feel free to blog your thoughts on or explanations of your pictures, or leave out the written words and let the pictures speak for themselves.
My life with diabetes in pictures

No, my diabetes isn't magically better because of my pump. Friday night I almost went for walk with a blood sugar of 57. If Dexcom hadn't alerted me, I wouldn't have known I was low. I still have lows and highs. My first ever set change was a gusher. The amount of blood that poured out of that little hole scared the hell out of me. At least I got that out of the way. My pump has simplified things and improved my life. My life will never be a walk in the park but right now I feel like I'm standing in the sun. I'm still inside and gaining strength so I can move forward in hope and peace.
Loving all the snapshots
ReplyDeleteGreat pics - that last one of the clearing in the woods made me so happy and calm. Beuatiful. Glad XPU has made things easier for you - hope it only gets better.
