WEGO Health Activist Writer's Challenge Month - Day 9

I'm participating in the WEGO Health Activist Writer's Month Challenge. Today’s topic: create your own Keep Calm and Carry On poster.

Here's mine:

I keep on shining. I don't shine as brightly every day, but I do my best to just keep on shining. My cat Neptune is still shining. We went to the vet this afternoon. The vet thinks he can fix her mouth and make her happy again. One thing was obvious, Neptune is still full of life. She's awake and alert, interested in her surroundings, still seeking our company. She is still grooming, despite being in pain. Clearly Neptune wanted to live, and of course we're going to help her. It will cost a lot, but isn't that what money is for?

Don't give up Neptune. Shine on!

This post was written from a blog prompt for April 9th  from The Health Activist Writer's Month Challenge at WEGO Health.

I am not a doctor. I do not have a medical degree. Nothing on this site qualifies as medical advice. These are lessons I'm learning at the University of Catastrophe. What I find to be correct answers in my classes may not be the right answers for you.

If you are enrolled with your own major at the University of Catastrophe, please consult your doctor, therapist, attorney, auto mechanic, veterinarian, plumber, dietician, arborist, acupuncturist, manicurist, mother, local dairy council, shoe shine boy, or other equally qualified professional, for advice and assistance.
